Children’s day camps are held from mid-June to mid-August. The camps are usually one week long and run from 9 am to 1 pm, offering students more intensive instruction in riding and the care and management of horses.
The camps are taught according to the level of the students, from beginner camps to more advanced camps that focus on beginner, intermediate, and advanced jumping. Each student is assigned an individual horse to ride for the week and is also required to care for the horse.
On the final day of camp, Parent’s Day, the children adorn their steeds in braids and ribbons and demonstrate new riding skills for their families.
