The ultimate goal of Centered Riding® is not to be a discipline unto itself. It must go forward in its purest and least complicated form so it may be integrated into all disciplines of riding." -Sally Swift
We are thrilled to announce that Peggy Brown will be at the Riding Centre for a two-day Open Centered Riding clinic, Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14, 2016, with a special demonstration on the evening of Friday, August 12!
Peggy is an Advanced Level IV Centered Riding and Centered Driving Clinician from Toledo, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and has trained horses and riders for more than 30 years at her stable, Walnut Hill Farm. Peggy’s strong belief in good foundation training and application of physical education techniques to riding and driving has helped her students succeed at both local and national championship levels.
The clinic will consist of a discussion of Centered Riding principles and exercises in the morning, followed by groups of riders applying these principles in riding lessons in the afternoon.
The cost for the clinic is as follows:
Clinic (demonstration, lecture, exercises, and rides on both days): $175
Clinic one day only: $100
School horses are available: $15/day
