Riding Centre and MVEA Combined Test
New in 2026, the Riding Centre is hosting a schooling Combined Test as part of the Miami Valley Equestrian Association’s calendar of events. You can learn more about MVEA and their other events at the MVEA Website.
The 2026 RC Combined Test will take place on Saturday, August 1st and feature levels from Adventurer (ground poles) up to USEA Training Level. We will also have a Dressage Test of Choice option.
This event is designed to provide a low-pressure, educational environment for horses and riders.

DIVISIONS:
All jumping phases will be timed.
For Adventurer and Tadpole, rounds are timed to provide feedback, but there is no maximum time limit (no elimination for exceeding time).

FEES AND ENTRY INFORMATION:
Combined Test Entry: $75.00 per class, $50 for second entry for same horse/rider combination
Dressage TOC Entry: $35.00 per class
Extra Jumper Schooling Round: $15.00 per class
Office/Grounds Fee: $15.00 per entry
Schooling Fee: $25.00 (Non-competing)
Closing Date: Saturday, July 25th
Late Fee: $20.00 for entries received after the closing date.
Stall Fee: $40.00 for the day (limited stalls, first come first served)
Refund Policy: Full refund minus office fee if withdrawn before the closing date. No refunds after the closing date unless the entry can be filled from a waitlist.
COMPETITION RULES & DRESS CODE:
Rules: Competition and scoring will follow USEF Rules for Eventing.
Coggins: A copy of a negative Coggins test within the last 12 months must be provided with entry or at check-in.
Attire: Summer schooling attire is encouraged. Collared polo shirts are permitted; coats/jackets are not required. ASTM/SEI certified helmets and boots with a heel must be worn while mounted.
Tack and gear: We will follow USEF rules for Eventing.
Dressage Rules: May be memorized or read at all levels.
Combined Test Rules: Standard show jumping course at heights and speeds listed. All courses will be timed. Adventurer and Tadpole CT will be timed but there will be no Time Limit (competitors will accrue time faults but there will be no maximum that results in elimination). Combinations and types of fences will follow USEF Rules for Eventing as much as possible, including scoring.
AWARDS:
Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 6th place in all divisions.
